RESPOND
● We often fail to take sin as seriously as we should. Genesis 4:7 warns that “it is
crouching at the door, and seeks to devour you,” and our responsibility is “to rule
over it.” What does it mean in real, everyday terms to ‘rule over’ sin? What does it
involve?
● How can the concept of "Am I my brother’s keeper” be applied to our
responsibilities in society today?
PRAY
● For strength to “rule over sin”
● Philippians 2:3, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in
humility, value others above yourselves.”
● For compassion for our brothers and sisters and boldness to speak the truth in
love when needed.
